Best Pho we've had in Michigan. We also love the beef rice cubes. They've recently changed owners but the food still tastes amazing.
Excellent, unpretentious pho from this small restaurant. The broth isn't too salty or too thin, just right for mixing in the various condiments. Comes with all the right fixings too; an extra plate full of bean sprouts, herbs, peppers to mix.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant among the many that are in this small area.
Not great! But you can try. Average taste and decent pricing.
This is the best PHO RESTAURANT IN TOWN, I had have eat all over in Michigan. The restaurant more clean, organized than before.
Generous bowls of hot pho. Best broth hands down.
This place is awesome. It's super delicious and super authentic. Whatever you do, make sure to get an avocado milkshake to cap the meal. I know you're going to think it's gross, but it's not. It's amazing.
A real hidden gem. I try something different everytime I eat here and it's always excellent!
I used to love this place but since new ownership in January 2017 servive has been slow, tabkes are not cleared and the food is not of the same quality. I keep hoping for a turn around but have been even more disappointed every time I have tried to go back. They have lost a 5-6 day a week customer.
Good Bo Kho, generous portion size, and two nice white napkins, (I only needed one).
I ate here once and the food was terrific, the prices were pretty high but the food reflected that. Unfortunately the owner was quite unfriendly and seemed legitimately annoyed that I was non Asian and had to serve me... He also complained when I asked for more napkins.. Saying. " I give you two already". I left that place without giving a tip.. It's too bad really. I love Vietnamese food and this place has some of the best I've had but I will never eat there again.
Had the Pho #13, delicious. Friendly service. Nice "hole in the wall" atmosphere. I will go back.
This used to be our favorite Vietnamese restaurant in town. Unfortunately, after new management took over, even though the menu stayed the same, the quality of the food has gone down (not as tasty, hair in the food, etc.). Portion sizes have also shrunk a lot.
So good! Crispy tools are spot on!
Excellent pho. Prices are quite reasonable.
This little gem is near our home, so we've eaten there a couple of times. My boyfriend always gets the chicken and vegetables with crispy noodles, and I really like the BBQ pork and Spring rolls. Service is fast and friendly, and seating is comfortable. The art on the walls is really nice, and the space is cozy and warm--a great little suppertime treat for all the senses. They also have a tv on so you can catch the news or whatever movie might be on.
Best pho place around! Great service, and fast!
Friendly staff and excellent Pho cuisine.
I went in for lunch just to try something new. Glad I did. The food was awesome! Def6going back.
Good food, great service. Restaurant was packed when we arrived. After we were seated and ordered, the food arrived quickly. I had the fried flat noodles with seafood. It was perfect.
PHO TAI NAM! rice noodle soup with beef
Used to be the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. New owner took over and screwed things up. On my nephew birthday, we ordered 5 orders of spring rolls to receive 5 orders of egg rolls. I was too busy to check at the place so I went home and called them just to listen the most nonsense thing in this world, "that was how their spring rolls are." I mean who in the world called spring rolls egg rolls? Even my 6 years old knew the difference of them. So next time you go to their store and order a coke they might just give you a water because that's their way to call a coke. Just a Terrible place!!!
Very good and big portions. We had the pho and some chicken stir fry dish. Both were very good. Also spring rolls were amazing and loved the sauce that came with them. Atmosphere is lacking but they had music playing so it wasn't terrible.
Was great until after January. It's under new management which I believe is not Vietnamese. Also, the service has declined as the last visit I was charged $12 for an $8 meal and it took more than 15 minutes to sort it out.
I had not been for Viet food since moving to Michigan so I found this place based on online reviews... SO VITAL!!! I love BUN (usually beef) so this is what I ordered. It comes with the typical spring roll. Everything was perfect just like at the good Viet places I had become used to in other parts of the country. The beef was tender and marinated well. All the vegetables were fresh and the owner even gave us very basic Vietnamese lessons. He was very friendly although a little shy. I like him.The restaurant is in a strip plaza and is decorated as per what I'm used to; a statue on the counter, no table-cloths, tile flooring, fluorescent lighting. Everything clean and welcoming. I will go definitely go back.
I love rice noodle♡
Great place! Food is very good with lots of flavor. Staff is always friendly. My go-to for Chinese/Vietnamese.It's a bit small, so don't expect a lot of privacy. Patrons are generally private and polite.Make sure to try the Durian milkshake.
Used to be amazing and my family and I would eat here a few times a month for the last 5 years. Since the new owners took over a few months ago, the flavors of my favorite dishes have changed, and the portions are smaller. I'm really disappointed to have lost my favorite restaurant. Sending out a "Hi" to Trang and her family if they're reading!
BEST, PHO... Mic's down. Serious, this place goes well beyond Vietnamese-american and straight to tradition. The food is extremely colorful, flavorful, and always fresh. Come early because it's frequently busy and has a small dinning room. I can't tell you how many times I drove to the Breakfast Club and ended up here. I just can't help it! Delicious!
Best food in town and the staff gives amazing customer service.
Just went the other day in several months and noticed that the owner is new.Store got a fresher look with new tables and chairs. Foods are ad till as good, if not better.
Best Pho in the area! I come here at least once a week.
Pretty good food. Hubby didn't think the pho matched up to his standards. Everyone was happy with their meals. Just would've been nicer if it was a bit more updated with privacy in the front window. Small and tight space, but seems like a lot of business, so people seem to look past all of that!
Really good. My first thai food
Loved this place but something has changed. I see people saying new owners. Food was delicious before. It's ok now. Same menu just different. I noticed in the fried rice noodle dish that there isn't nearly as many vegetables (nor variety of them).
The pho has deeper flavor than other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. However, I don't agree to the other reviews in regard to decor and service. The decor is value theme at best, and the owner doesn't look confident in casual talk in English. This is my impression for the last 6 years.
Pho Tao #15 is excellent. Good flavor and very filling.
Owners and staff are great ! ! ! !Best Vietnamese food anywhere.Relaxing and great place to enjoy a authentic Vietnamese meal.
The Pho is the best. It's great on a cold day.
Simply delicious, and the girl works there is always very friendly and explains well about the food.
Great little place.. Walk in and it does not seem like much... reasonable prices, the pho is good but the seafood noodle soup (Hu Tieu Trieu Chau without the pork) is the best around since Dalat in Ypsi closed!
My Thai friend took me here once and now I crave their pho. She even admits it's a the best there is. Fast service, clean and enjoyable place to eat.
We positively love this place. Though Thuy Trang may be shy on ambience, it makes up for the deficit by serving up wonderful food. Pha is our personal favorite. We love the soup and order it regularly. Full of noodles, greens and various other ingredients, its flavorful broth will fix anything that ails you. The wait staff is kind and efficient. One can't help leaving satisfied.
Under New Ownership and NOT the same as it use to be. Forced to seek alternatives to achieve my vietnamese tick
Taste is phenomenal! Super nice staff! It was very unexpected indeed!
Nice and quite place. The pho broth is the best I have had! Better than the other pho place down the road. Didn't need to add any condiments. Only added mint leaves. Mango bubble tea is fantastic. This place has a variety of foods that will keep you coming back for more.
Best pho I've had in Michigan so far. Clean, good service and prices.
If you are looking to impress someone with a fine dining experience with great atmosphere this isn't it. If you want to try some of the BEST FOOD IN TOWN, then this is the place to go. Pho is awesome but also give the pork chops a try, so so good.
Love the Pho, comes with fresh green herbs on the side, so authentic.
